Lifeskills are something that we learn from an early age, traits that are developed and then enhanced through participation and interaction with others. Cornwall Lifeskills aim to embrace the concept of self learning, by assisting with developed packages, using trained, experience and dedicated members of staff to support you along the way.
First Aid and Health & Safety is our core training, which is effectively a necessity for all in todays society. All of our trainers hold a Cert Ed or Level 3 Award in Education (Previously known as Pttls) qualifiicationn. As an opertaing centre, we are registered with AoFA Qualifications, AoHT, Aid Training, Qualifications Network (QNUK), Anaphylaxis UK, STA (Safety Training Awards) and ITC First to deliver a range of different levels of acreditted, regulated, recognised and non-acreditted training courses, all of which are supported with appropriate certification upon completion of the required learning and assessments.
You may have need of additional staff cover, in which case we can offer staff that are trained to suit your need; staff with Cert Ed, Youth Work & Management, Walking & Camping and Cornwall Council Minibus driving permits. These staff are able to cover short or long term commitments, one-off activities or ad-hoc support. Operational committments often come in the form of a requirement for staffing for a one-off activity or event. We have experience in event management, and are aptly positioned to assist with an array of marshalling and support services to ensure your event is managed effectively.
Allow us to undertake your training needs, from First Aid, Protective Behaviours and Restorative Justice to staff or pupils through to using our skills to deliver workshops in Internet, Alcohol or Drugs safety to large groups in a school setting.
Engage us to support geography or history field trips, by provision of appropriately qualified moorland walking leaders, or use our staff to support your Duke of Edinburgh's Award or outward bound programmes.
